VVVVVV was an immensely satisfying challenge. I had heard about it before, but when I discovered that it was actually a Metroidvania type game, I just had to play.

1. Ghost Trick
I ignored this game for a good while because I didn’t enjoy the demo when I first played it. Seeing the first two chapters free on the iPhone prompted me to give it another shot. Really glad I did. Very straightforward in its puzzles, but that’s actually a great thing for me because I hate wasting time trying to figure out how to solve a puzzle when I have too many options. Use Max indeed. There were a few times I got stuck but the answer was to act a bit unconventional to what adventure game wisdom would say to do. Really looking forward to more games like this in the future.
